When I changed my Blog, I found the perfect match for My Reads!  I love first lines, and here’s Jon’s: “It’s not easy getting your lion diploma. I know.  I took lessons.”  Seven stand in our hero’s way.  Lesson 1 fails to impress, and so do the next 5.  Lesson 7 is his last chance, but our boy shines when he saves his kitten friend from an enemy dog.  Our boy is fierce.  He  roars.  He sprints.  He pounces to save his friend.  He gets his diploma, and a clowder of neighborhood cats.  Believe it or not, you too have an inner lion.  You’ll find him if you’re ever in danger, or,  one of your friends.  Here’s to your inner lion!                                                 ​
