Edward Gets Messy
Written by Rita Meade
Illustrated by Olga Stern

Ages: 4 – 8

Grade level:  Preschool – 2

This is another great book!  I love the story!  Edward is the neatest kid ever.  He refuses to get messy.  But poor Edward, he never has any fun.  Then the worst thing ever happens in art class.  His supplies fall everywhere, over everything, including Edward.  After a moment of complete horror, Edward realizes he’s made a great painting.  He also realizes he can do all the messy things he’s avoided…because at the end of the day…he can take a  bath.  So readers, go ahead and get messy  Have fun doing it!  But don’t forget to take your bath!

Whenever I read or write, I find a comfy chair with a great view.  I get my favorite drink, stretch out, and let the words take me away.
