Disney’s The Never Girls #4: From the Mist

Ages: 6 – 10

Grade level:  1 – 4

I usually avoid Disney books, but I’m glad I checked this one out.  This series of 13 books is about four girls who travel to Neverland.  They meet the fairies of Pixie Hollow and follow them into adventure.  In this story the girls enter a mist portal.  A fog blankets Pixie Hollow, and the fairies are afraid of the dangers it brings, like a storm that summons a herd of mist horses.  Kate, who’s been longing for adventure, climbs aboard.  Her friends and the fairies discover an old legend about the horses.  It’s says they take humans for rides, and never return.  Her friends finally rescue Kate.  Girls will love this story.  Horses and fairies, what’s not to love!

Whenever I read or write, I find a comfy chair with a great view.  I get my favorite drink, stretch out, and let the words take me away.
